Nature Oh! Creator - feat. Two Rivers

by Adrian Freedman

/

about

In 2011 Adrian and Ravi recorded the duet Blues for slide guitar and shakuhachi, as part of the Two Rivers album.
A couple of years later. Lucidia contacted us and said she had been inspired by the music to create a new melody and lyrics that could sit on top of the existing track. She came to the studio and recorded this beautiful vocal line, which is now being released for the first time as the single Nature Oh! Creator.

The words are very heartfelt and give a new meaning to the beautiful melodies and textures of the Two Rivers track. This song is a call to awaken and take responsibility for affirming our deep and indelible connection to the great Mother, source of all life.

In these times we live, many people find themselves experiencing a kind of unassuageable sadness and powerlessness, as no amount of connection to the Mother seems to stop the wanton destruction, and at times hopelessness can threaten to overwhelm. This very contemporary condition has come to be known as Solastasia.

But as we all know, hope springs eternal in the human heart, and music like this can hopefully inspire to take the next steps with unbroken faith in our connection and in the possibilities of healing ourselves and this Earth.

Please check out our new playlist Songs of Healing for Solastasia on Spotify.

And also check out these people who continue to uplift and inspire and show the way in these transformational times.
